General aims
To support the prime contractor (Polytechnic of Milan) in the overall evaluation of the Saocom CS mission (TangoSat).
CMCC Role
CMCC supports Polimi in:
- Consolidate scientific justification for SAOCOM-CS applications relative to forestry, ice, and (eventually) deserts;
- Define a reflectivity model accounting for relevant forest parameters
- Drafting of a SAOCOM CS MRD and presentation of the science case to ESAC/Member States.
