Federica is currently a PhD candidate in Science and Management of Climate Change at Ca’ Foscari University, Italy. She is developing a project on risk assessment and adaptation planning using machine learning algorithms applied to both monitoring and remote sensing data. Specifically, her focus is on disaster risks caused by extreme events.

She has a background in Environmental Science (Ca’ Foscari University), and before joint CMCC she worked for national and international NGOs being always active and involved in a lot of projects driven by her passion for environmental protection.
