Fabio Viola started his collaboration with CMCC in 2020 working as Software Engineer at the OPA (Ocean Predictions and Applications) division.

His previous work experience are as a research fellow at the “Advanced Research Center on Electronic Systems” of the University of Bologna (2014-2019) and lately at “Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare” (Bologna, 2019-2020).

Fabio holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering pursued at the University of Bologna where he also graduated (summa cum laude) in Computer Engineering (2014).
