Olinda Rufo is skilled in Oceanography with experience in the field of climate change.

She holds a Physical Oceanography degree from University of Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique. Her passion for the field led her to pursue further studies abroad, where she spent time at the University of Humboldt State in California, USA, honing her skills and expertise. Her dedication to the field led her to pursue a joint master’s degree in Water and Coastal Management and Risk Assessment at three prestigious universities: University of Bologna, the University of Cadiz in Spain, and the University of Algarve in Portugal. Currently, Olinda is a valuable research member of Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate change team (CMCC) and Università Ca’Foscari Venezia, Italy. She applies her knowledge and expertise to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing our planet.

Her work is focused on using Machine Learning tools to assess the Multi-Risks Hazards and Adaptation strategies of Climate Change.
