Sebastiano Roncoroni is a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate Simulation and Prediction Division at CMCC.
He holds a PhD in Mathematics of Planet Earth at the University of Reading, UK. His PhD research focused on the dynamics of the Southern Ocean and its response to wind stress changes.

His current research interests extend to statistical downscaling techniques and the mechanisms of extratropical climate variability.
