Pietro Miraglio obtained his PhD in Pure and Applied Mathematics in a joint program between Università degli Studi di Milano and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, with a thesis on regularity and rigidity of stable solutions to some nonlinear elliptic PDEs. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics at the Università di Torino. After finishing his PhD, he worked at Eurac Research in Bolzano, Italy, as a Post-Doc researcher focusing mainly on data analysis and mathematical modelling in renewable energy-related research. In fall 2021, he got a Post-Doc position at CMCC, where he is developing the next-generation reanalysis of the Mediterranean Sea in the framework of the Copernicus Marine Service.
