In February 2019, Danilo obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Ingegneria dell’Informazione at the University of Salento, with a degree thesis in Electromagnetic solutions for the Hi-Tech.
In April 2022, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Salento, with a degree thesis in High Performance Computing titled “Projecting the likelihood of civil conflict under climate change through Machine Learning”. In such thesis, it was conducted an analysis of the climate change role in past civil conflicts, studying the relations of various climatic and socioeconomic variables with conflict variables, and projecting the likelihood of conflict in the future, using Machine Learning algorithms.

Since May 2022, Danilo is working in the Supercomputing Center (SCC) division of the CMCC, in which he has sharpened his Linux programming and administration skills, as well as his supercomputing hardware and networking knowledge and management. In particular, he has written and optimized several C/Bash programs, daemons and scripts, and gained a high confidence in using IBM Spectrum Scale’s administration and management utilities.
His skills include also a good knowledge of the high performance computing and programming languages for scientific and general purposes, and a good theoretical Machine Learning background.

He loves everything about technologies and is strongly willed to always learn more, and also loves to do a lot of sport, mainly gym, volleyball and running.
