Monica Eberle holds a degree in Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and currently serves as the Manager of the European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE). Previously, she held various positions, including Project Manager within the Research Divisions of Economic Analysis of Climate Impacts and Policy (ECIP), Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies (RAAS), and Sustainable Earth Modelling Economics (SEME).
She has also served as Secretary General of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), the Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (IAERE), and the Italian Society for Climate Sciences (SISC). Additionally, she coordinated the Secretariat of the Integrated Assessment Modeling Consortium (IAMC).
Her prior experience includes roles as Programme Officer and Project Manager at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), where she oversaw the Ecological and Environmental Economics project—a collaboration between FEEM, the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics. She also worked as an event manager at both FEEM and Ca’ Foscari University.
