Samuele is a post-graduate junior researcher at the CMCC – Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change. His current work focuses on developing a machine learning approach for classifying High Impact Low Probability (HILP) events and designing a three-tiered agnostic stress-testing methodology to analyze HILP events, with particular attention to cascading and compounding risk dynamics.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Turin and a joint Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Karl-Franzens University of Graz.
