Angelo Campanale is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CMCC REMHI division since March 2022.

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 at the Politecnico di Bari. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari in 2021 with a thesis entitled “Fluid-Structure interaction problems in linear and nonlinear engineering applications: theory and experiments”. His current research activity is mainly dedicated to numerical weather simulations, in particular related to the Icosahedral Nonhydrostatic Weather and Climate (ICON) model coupled with urban schemes.
