Angelica Bianconi was born on October 15, 1995 in Potenza. She is currently a PhD student in “Sustainable Development and Climate Change” at the University of Advanced Studies (IUSS) in Pavia and Ca’Foscari University in Venice. She is also affiliated with the Fondazione Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC) – Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies (RAAS) Division.
Previously, Angelica studied Computer Science at the University of Padua, where she became an expert in Artificial Intelligence, particularly in the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) models. After graduation, she obtained a scientific collaboration with CMCC – RAAS Division, where she gained knowledge on climate change risk assessment in order to design ML and DL-based multi-risk analysis applications.
