Alessandro holds a degree in Scientific Translation and Liaison Interpreting from University of Salento in Lecce. His university studies focused mainly on translation strategies for a more performative writing, interpreting techniques and the use of CAT tools and dubbing software.
He spent a period of study in Japan at the Daito Bunka University as international student before his graduation. Through these years he maturated strong proficiency in English and Japanese language, plus a self-taught French language knowledge.
After graduating, he spent a few years as a freelance translator and interpreter, providing services both as language advisor and content editor and reviewer. Together with these activities, he also spent more than 4 years as account manager in a local company.
He joined CMCC in 2023 with the SCC (Super Computing Center) team as a support for the arrangement of the user guides, support for SCC user management, support for PARC activities, support for the Director managing SCC personnel.
