Aljabu Malik

Malik Aljabu has obtained his scientific master’s degree from Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore – Milano in Management with particular emphasis on European social, economic, and legal framework.

His passion for volunteering and activism started in 2017 after he finished his bachelor’s degree in Economics. The journey in the non-profit world started after joining an NGO focused on women’s rights and gender equality where he took part in different projects aimed at empowering women, fighting domestic violence against women, in addition to facilitating the political engagement of women in Libya.

In addition to his managerial skills, Malik is also a qualified emergency social worker “tutor of resilience” as he worked in the field as a social worker for children in migration detention centers in Tripoli – Libya where he provided psych-social support to migrant children and their mothers and took part in building the first child-friendly space in a detention centre in Libya.

At CMCC he is assigned within the Advanced Scientific Computing Division – ASC as a project manager where he is involved in different managerial and coordination tasks, in addition to consortium management, communication, and finance.
