EUCRA Project meeting
15-16 October 2024 | Milan
The EUCRA community event will be held in Milano on 15-16 October 2024 as the final event of the EUCRA project. It aims to gather all the contributors to the 1st European climate risk assessment (EUCRA) to reflect on the main achievements and lesson learnt, as well as to discuss about possible future climate risk assessments.
It is organised by CMCC, as coordinator of the project.
The first European Climate Risk Assessment (EUCRA) is a comprehensive assessment of the major climate risks facing Europe today and in the future. It identifies 36 climate risks that threaten our energy and food security, ecosystems, infrastructure, water resources, financial systems, and people’s health. Many of these risks have already reached critical levels and can become catastrophic without urgent and decisive action.
