On March 1, 2023 the CMCC Foundation joins the EEA-Eionet day, a highly interactive event in Copenhagen aiming at positioning EEA-Eionet as the key knowledge network in supporting the European Green Deal and 8th Environment Action Programme and to accelerate the implementation of the EEA-Eionet Strategy 2021-2030.

The European Environment Information and Observation Network (Eionet) is a partnership network of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and its 38 member and cooperating countries. EEA and Eionet gather and develop data, knowledge, and advice to policy makers about Europe’s environment.

On Wednesday 1 March 2023, people from across Europe gather for the first ever #EEAEionetDay in Copenhagen. The event aims to contribute to positioning EEA-Eionet as the key knowledge network in supporting the European Green Deal and 8th Environment Action Programme and to accelerate the implementation of the EEA-Eionet Strategy 2021-2030.

The CMCC Foundation, coordinator of ETC/CCA and EUCRA with Giulia Galluccio and Chiara Trozzo (ISCD Division), takes part in the event, which brings together National Focal Points, experts from Eionet groups and Thematic groups, European Topic Centre managers and experts, and the European Environment Agency (EEA) staff.
