Presentazioni orali, poster e sessioni scientifiche su scienze del clima, bio-geoscienze, cambiamenti ambientali globali e molto altro. Il CMCC contribuirà al programma dell’Annual Meeting dell’American Geophysical Union, che si terrà a Washington, D.C., e online dal 9 al 13 dicembre 2024.

L’Annual Meeting di AGU (American Geophysical Union) è l’evento più influente a livello globale dedicato al progresso delle scienze della Terra e dello spazio, che ogni anno riunisce oltre 25.000 partecipanti da più di 100 Paesi. Il tema di quest’anno, What’s Next for Science (Qual è il futuro della scienza), mette in evidenza il potere della scoperta, dell’innovazione e della collaborazione per creare soluzioni a favore del nostro pianeta e della società.

AGU24 sarà un punto d’incontro per scienziati, educatori, decisori politici, giornalisti e comunicatori, con l’obiettivo di esplorare temi di ricerca all’avanguardia, promuovere nuove connessioni e promuovere azioni per affrontare i cambiamenti climatici e avanzare verso una scienza più equa e inclusiva.

Gli scienziati del CMCC contribuiranno al programma di AGU2024 con presentazioni orali e poster, condividendo la loro esperienza su temi come gli impatti dei cambiamenti climatici, le strategie innovative di adattamento e il rapporto tra scienza e politica.
