Edoardo works as a senior research associate in the Ocean Predictions and Applications (OPA) division of CMCC, on the development of scientific software for ocean modeling and simulation.
Prior to joining CMCC, he worked as a research scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) in Berkeley, California, on the development of the plasma simulation code WarpX. Edoardo holds a Master’s degree in physics from the University of Milano-Bicocca and a PhD in mathematics from the Technical University of Munich. Prior to his research appointments at CMCC and LBNL, he worked at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) in Munich, Germany, on the development of the plasma simulation library SeLaLib.
