Fabrizio holds an MSc in Science Communication from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Trieste, and a BSc in Natural Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome. He has previous project management experience at Legambiente Nazionale, where he worked in fundraising, project design, management, and monitoring of EU and nationally funded environmental projects.

Previously, he has served as a consultant for the EU Commission, providing technical and financial evaluations of project proposals submitted under the EU LIFE Programme. Since June 2024, he works at CMCC as Senior Project Manager, supporting scientists of the GOCO Division in the daily implementation of EU, national and regional funded projects.
