Alberto Sergio is a PhD student in Economics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, where he is affiliated with the Department of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. He holds an MRes in Science and Management of Climate Change from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, an MSc in Economics from the University of Verona, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the University of Verona. In 2022, Alberto also worked at CMCC, contributing to the DIGITA project and enhancing the GTAP database through the ICES-XPS model. His research interests include environmental policy, energy economics, sustainable development, and biodiversity conservation. He will continue his work as a collaborator within the ECIP division.
