Alessio Menini is currently a stakeholder engagement specialist of the IAFES Division (Impacts on Agriculture, Forests and Ecosystem Services).
He works across social and environmental sciences; in particular, he provides stakeholder assessment and mapping, identifies key concerns, risks and mitigation actions, and activates and manages the involvement of stakeholders and policymakers on climate change adaptation issues to increase their skills and improve decision-making processes for climate change governance and mainstreaming; he produces new knowledge and products for effective management of climate change adaptation in different sectors; he organizes participatory activities to co-design climate change adaptation actions and policies and manages communications activities.
He worked for two years as a social researcher at the Istituto Zooprofilattico delle Venezie in animal health and food risk communication projects. He holds an M.Sc. in social research (sociology) at the University of Padua.
