Martina Marian (Degree in Economics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, 2001) is currently Institute Manager of the Institute for Climate Resilience (ICR) of the Fondazione CMCC with which she has collaborated since 2005.
Until July 2024, she was division manager of the ECIP “Economic Climate Impacts and Policy” Division and of the RAAS “Risk Assessment and Adaptation Strategies” Division at Fondazione CMCC, where she was also project manager of several national and European projects. Additionally, she was responsible for the CMCC Venice office “CMCC@Ca’Foscari”, established in collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University, and was part of the staff at the “RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE).”
Previously she was a founding member of the Italian Society for Climate Sciences, where she was secretary general from 2013 to 2017. In 2001 she started her collaboration Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), where she was head of the Fund raising office from 2009 to 2017 and project manager of the International Center for Climate Governance.
