Luca Giunti is Scientific Software Developer at the Ocean Predictions and Applications (OPA) Division of the CMCC Foundation.

He earned a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of Torino and a Ph.D. in Physics of the Universe at the Université Paris Cité (2021). His doctoral research focused on data analysis, interpretation, and software development within the high-energy gamma-ray Astronomy field. In his current role, Luca is dedicated to software development for the SURF relocatable ocean platform as part of the Digital Twin of the Ocean project at the CMCC Foundation.
