Matteo Funaro is currently division manager of the “IAFES Impacts on Agriculture, Forests and Ecosystem Services” Division in Sassari. He is acting as project manager in research and development projects. He works across social and environmental sciences. His expertise lies in the fields of Integrating water and agricultural management and participatory process in the development projects. He taught EU project design at the Bachelor’s degree Security and international cooperation at the University of Sassari and He designed and submitted several proposal for EU calls with a good success rate. His experience include also field social research in Ghana and Burkina Faso, and project management on the ground in Algeria, Tunisia, and Sudan. He holds a M.Sc. in Policy science and International Economy at La Sapienza University of Rome and a Ph.D in Methodology of Social Research at the University of Sassari.
