Pier Giuseppe Fogli, Msc. in Marine Environmental Sciences.
He has contributed to the development of several global coupled climate models (SINTEX-G, CMCC-Med, CMCC-CM, CMCC-CMS) and Earth system models (CMCC-CESM). He is currently the principal developer and mantainer of the next generation CMCC Earth system model.
He has performed several simulation and projection for a number of research projects (ENSEMBLES, COMBINE, CMIP5, CORE-II, MyOcean).
His main research activities focus on global coupled models and Earth system models development, global climate modelling, global carbon cycle modelling and numerical methods for climate modelling.
