Ottavia joined CMCC’s Communication team in 2018. Today, she works as Science Outreach Manager with a goal to build innovative platforms to spread climate awareness and literacy among different audiences, based on the scientific data produced within CMCC’s research divisions. She also coordinates and takes part in communication and dissemination activities for several European research projects led or participated by CMCC. Ottavia also produces and manages multimedia contents for the IPCC Focal Point for Italy web platform and contributes to the CMCC website news section and the Foresight Magazine. Since 2019 she is the Communications Manager of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), whose Secretariat is held by CMCC.

Ottavia holds a MSc in Comparative International Relations (2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation (2013) from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
