Matteo Bellotta works for the Division on Impacts on Agriculture, Forests and Ecosystem Services at Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC). He is a graduate in “ Cooperation for Rural Development of Developing Countries” in Agriculture Department of Tuscia (Viterbo). Since 2014 he works on research, planning, drafting and evaluation of activities relating agriculture, forestry and climate change. His expertise is actually focused in the LULUCF sector (Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry) and currently he is involved in the issues related to methodologies and standards for CO2 emissions quantification. He has been actively involved as agronomist in various international cooperation projects of Italian Foreign Ministry; amongst others, he worked in India, Ecuador, Bolivia and during these projects he contributed to the planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the field activities.
