Marianna Adinolfi graduated with honours at University of Salerno in Environmental Engineering. She got the Ph. Doctor Europaeus in “Energy Science and Engineering” attained in 2017 at University of Napoli Parthenope. During her Ph.D., she developed coupled numerical models and experimental campaigns on energy geo-structures collaborating with the Laboratory of Soil Mechanics of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland. Since 2018, she is a researcher at CMCC (Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change) – REgional Modeling and geo-Hydrological Impacts (REMHI) division. The goals of her scientific activities are: the development and post-processing of climate simulations by means of the regional climate model COSMO-CLM as part of CORDEX – Flagship Pilot Studies projects on convection; the analyses and management of climate data, especially concerning the urban environment and extreme events; the management of research activities related to national and international research projects (as EUCP H-2020, VENEZIA 2021-CORILA, HIGHLANDER). She also conducts research activities in the field of energy geo-stuctures and the assessment of climate change impacts on such structures.
