Climateurope2 Webstival
11-12 March 2025
Climateurope2 promotes insightful community discussions on the design, use, quality, business innovation, and policy drivers of climate services. Continuing our series of webstivals and festivals, the forth westival will take place on March 11th and 12th, 2025.
The webstival will offer the occasion to follow up on the topic of standardisation, one of the key pillars of Climateurope2, and how to develop climate services for adaptation and mitigation. Mitigation will be one of the main themes of the event, as a complementary strategy to adaptation to address climate change and its impacts. In particular, it will explore the Mission on Climate Neutral Cities. The event will gather together many different representatives of new Horizon Europe projects and will focus on the Climate Digital Twin of Destination Earth as an opportunity to provide high resolution information at both global and local scale. The webstival will finally offer the chance to discuss how to improve equity in and of climate services and reflect on any potential impacts of AI on this topic.
The webstival will feature plenary sessions with a rich program of topics addressing recent developments, along with a series of parallel deep-dive workshops. The interactive approach of the event aims to provide practical experience and a deeper understanding of the tools and strategies behind effective climate services.
