Jessie Ruth Schleypen’s short bio

Jessie Ruth Schleypen is a development economist at Climate Analytics in Berlin. She specializes in the econometrics of climate change impacts, macroeconomic policy analysis, and development planning; and has been working on several projects heavily engaged with stakeholders and policy-makers. She has worked for the Government of the Philippines under the National Economic and Development Authority as a Senior Economic Development Specialist, and has been intensively involved in policy impact analyses and medium-term development planning for the Philippines. She holds a Masters degree in International and Development Economics from HTW-Berlin, a Masters in Development Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines.
