In this webinar, we will explore Governance Solutions for climate adaptation, specifically focusing on data-driven decision making (DDDM) for effective water management. Join us to gain practical insights from TransformAr demonstrators and discover Galicia’s application of DDDM in mussel culture and Sardinia’s creation of Coastal Contracts—an authority coordination system for wetland management in the Gulf of Oristano.

This event is part of the EU TransformAr Project, which aims to promote large-scale transformative adaptation in vulnerable European regions. The project implements a range of actionable adaptive solutions covering nature-based solutions, innovative technologies, financing, insurance models, awareness programs, and governance models.

This webinar marks the beginning of a series focused on presenting the solutions developed by demonstrators.

Audience: Actors involved in the implementation of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. These include urban/regional resilience policy makers, government officials, academics and practitioners.

Format: This event will be a webinar based on short presentations followed by discussion with interactive tools and breakout rooms.
