IPCC | Open Hour: Call for experts

The IPCC Focal Point for Italy will host an “Open Hour” webinar on Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. CEST, to introduce the call Call for nomination of experts to the Scoping Meeting for the Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage. The webinar will be hosted by Anna Pirani, CMCC and Focal Point alternate for Italy, who also served as executive editor of the IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C and the AR6 Working Group I 2021 Climate Report on the physical science basis of climate change and was an author of the IPCC AR6 Synthesis Report, and Giacomo Grassi, Scientific officer at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) and member of the Bureau of the Task Force on greenhouse gas inventories (TFI).
The webinar will include a Q&A session and is open to all.
