Bernardo Sbarro leads the Management Control System Office at the Administration, Finance, and Control Department. After graduating with honors in Management Engineering, Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Salento (Lecce), he pursued advanced studies in the field of Management and Politics of Public Administrations, where he holds a 2nd level Master from the LUISS “G. Carli” University in Rome. In his previous experiences, he applied this expertise in several major public institutions, including the European Central Bank and the Italian State Railways, where he drove business innovation in the light of digitalization and process automation.
A highly curious and multidisciplinary individual, he enjoys combining his knowledge in various fields to explore new ideas and possibilities. He is author of several scientific papers, ranging from automotive to pharmacognosy and climate change.
