Holding a Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics, and Sustainability from the University of Naples “Parthenope,” Simone joined LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome as post-doc researcher , focusing on the impact of strategic alliances on organizational resilience in response to climate changes. Previously, he has conducted extensive international academic research, serving as a Visiting Ph.D. Researcher at the University of Waterloo in Canada and Leuphana University in Germany, where he delved into sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and climate-related studies.
Beyond academia, Simone’s international academic experiences include being a Visiting Bachelor Student at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and a Visiting Master student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in the United States. With prior experience as a Corporate Governance Research Analyst in Brussels, Simone is focusing his research interests on advancing studies related to governance climate risks, sustainability, ESG factors, and climate impact.
