Daniele Piazzolla holds a PhD in “Ecology and sustainable management of environmental resources” from the University of Tuscia in 2017. His research activity generally concerns the impact assessment of anthropogenic pressures on the marine environment, and particularly focuses on pollution effects on coastal marine ecosystems.
Since 2019 he has collaborated with the CMCC Ocean Predictions and Applications division, participating in various projects and research programs within which he carries out observational data collection and processing, and laboratory and on-site tests of cost-effective instrumentation useful to measure the physico-chemical characteristics of the water column.
