An international scientific meeting to present and discuss the state of the art in integrated assessment modelling. Explore the contribution provided by the researchers of the CMCC Foundation and the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment at the 13th Annual Meeting of the Integrated Assessment Consortium (IAMC), to be held online on 1-4 December 2020.
Integrated Assessment is a scientific discipline that uses models to describe both the human system and the earth system, to better understand sustainability problems and investigate effective response options.
The Thirteenth Annual Meeting of the Integrated Assessment Consortium (IAMC) will be held online on December 1st-4th, 2020. The meeting is open to researchers from organizations involved in integrated assessment modelling and their research collaborators. More than 300 participants are expected at the conference, which will host over 40 posters and 100 oral presentations.
Plenary sessions will focus on the social cost of carbon, the role of the IAM research in IPCC AR6 assessment, and on the topic of net zero emission targets. Parallel sessions will address a wide range of topics, from international and national climate policies to how to reduce energy demand, from sustainable development to the impacts of COVID-19 and the crisis recovery packages.

About the Integrated Assessment Consortium (IAMC)
The Integrated Assessment Consortium (IAMC) is an organization of scientific research institutions that pursues scientific understanding of issues associated with integrated assessment modeling and analysis. The IAMC was created in 2007 in response to a call from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for a research organization to lead the integrated assessment modeling community in the development of new scenarios that could be employed by climate modelers in the development of prospective ensemble numerical experiments for both the near term and long term. The IAMC Secretariat is managed by the CMCC Foundation.
