VISIR® is a service providing optimized nautical routes in the Mediterranean Sea. The optimization regards total navigation time, keeping into account safety of navigation. The computation of the routes depends on model forecast of sea-state. The user can specify departure date and time, departure and arrival location, vessel type, and other parameters. The routes are displayed on top of wave forecasts, superimposed on a Google-map.
VISIR® Premium will be on special offer as an annual subscription at 29,99 Euros. Premium users can now simulate routes for sail boats on www.visir-nav.com. Sail boats will be soon available also in the mobile version with polar charts for the most common types of sail boats.
Now available for Android, and soon available also for iOS.
