Observing and predicting the global coastal ocean: on 15 April, the Italian Research Day in the World, the CMCC Foundation will present the Coast Predict programme during the online event organised by the Rome Science Festival with the protagonists of Italian science.
On the occasion of the Italian Research Day in the World on April 15, the CMCC Foundation takes part in the Rome Science Festival as a scientific partner. Produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation, the Festival realizes, in collaboration with the Ministry of University and Research and with the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a scientific marathon in streaming from 10:00 to 20:30 with 16 meetings, 55 speakers, 3 Ministries and 14 scientific partners.
The online event on April 15 will go live on the website www.festivaldellescienzeroma.it and on the page www.facebook.com/FestivaldelleScienzeRoma and will be available both in Italian and English.
At 19:25 Giovanni Coppini, Director of the CMCC Division Ocean Predictions and Applications, interviewed by Jacopo Pasotti, Science Journalist at Radar, will talk about transferable solutions for a sustainable ocean at the event “Coast Predict: the international network of predictions and solutions for the sea and coasts”, where he will present the programme “Coast Predict – Predicting the Global Coastal Ocean” submitted to the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
The Rome Science Festival is realize in partnership with Codice Edizioni, ASI – Agenzia Spaziale Italiana and INFN – Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare.
