Oral presentations, posters, and scientific sessions on climate science, biogeosciences, global environmental changes, and more. CMCC contributes to the agenda of the American Geophysical Union Annual Meeting, taking place in Washington, D.C., and online on December 9–13, 2024.

The AGU (American Geophysical Union) Annual Meeting is the world’s most influential event for advancing Earth and space sciences, bringing together more than 25,000 attendees from over 100 countries. This year’s theme, What’s Next for Science, underscores the power of discovery, innovation, and collaboration to create solutions for our planet and society.

AGU24 will gather scientists, educators, policymakers, journalists, and communicators to explore cutting-edge research, foster new connections, and inspire actions for addressing climate change and advancing equity in science.

Scientists from the CMCC Foundation will contribute to the agenda through oral presentations and posters, showcasing their expertise on topics including the impacts of climate change, innovative adaptation strategies, and the science-policy interface. Below is a summary of the sessions featuring CMCC researchers.
