Paola is deputy director of the Advanced Scientific Computing (ASC) Division. She is a junior scientist and holds a M.Sc. degree cum laude in Computer Engineering from the University of Salento. Since 2012, she has been actively involved in national and international key projects within the Data Science research unit. Her activities focus on building community and cross-community data infrastructures and services, with particular interest in the fields of IoT, data analysis and scientific computing applied to climate change. She is an astronomy enthusiast and also a member of a group of amateur astronomers.
