Nicolò Gebbani is currently a PhD candidate in Science and Management of Climate Change at Ca’Foscari University of Venice, Italy. His main research interests include the links between climate change impacts on livelihoods and violence. As a background, he holds a master’s degree in international relations with a dissertation on the effect of climate on the opium economy in Afghanistan, and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese studies. Furthermore, he has worked as a consultant at the FAO and as an intern at the Italian Embassy in Washington, DC. He is passionate about running and endurance sports.
