Building research knowledge for the future

Join the Future Earth Research School to discover how to anticipate future global environmental challenges.

The CMCC Foundation, with the financial support of the Emilia-Romagna Region, launched the FERS – Future Earth Research School, an international school entirely focused on environmental sustainability and climate change. FERS will offer a strategic overview on how to model our climate system and deal with future global challenges, building a fertile ground for innovation and new research pathways.

The ‘Future Earth Research School’ (FERS) is coordinated by the CMCC Foundation and it is steered by a scientific committee of international high-level academics.

The School offers a unique opportunity for the most promising up-and-coming researchers to work together and share experiences on different aspects of research while maintaining a global and multidisciplinary approach.

In 2022 – 2023  the school will organize four high-level scientific courses:

20th June – 2nd July 2022, Bologna, Italy.

5th – 17th June 2023, Bertinoro (FC), Italy.

3rd – 15th October 2022, Bertinoro (FC), Italy.

9th – 20th October 2023, Bertinoro (FC), Italy.
