Panelists will present and discuss the impact of climate change on Egypt including the extreme weather events, current challenges and future needs. Accordingly, they will discuss the outcomes of the feasibility study for the establishment of proposed CoE for Climate Change in Egypt, highlighting its mandate, governance, implementation modalities and sustainability. The CoE is proposed in recognition of the need for a better circulation and sharing of data, information, tools between the technical and academic institutions to support decision making processes in the area of climate change with appropriate analysis and evaluation.
