Until a few years ago the Arctic was one of the most inaccessible and uninhabitable areas on the planet. But it is radically changing due to climate change. The transformation affects the Arctic territory but also geopolitical, economic and social dynamics that branch off from the North Pole to distant and unexpected latitudes.
The book by Marzio Mian, “Artico. La battaglia per il Grande Nord, is a story from the field about this transformation, resulting from about a decade of journalistic work and reportage in the Arctic region.

The interview is available in Italian language only.

Marzio Mian presents the book “Artico. La battaglia per il Grande Nord” on Wednesday, April 11 at CFZ Cultural Flow Zone, Venice.
Information about the event are available in Italian language only.
